Anthony Parber was born in Tucson, AZ in 1951 and resides in Novato, CA.



He was schooled at Merced High School, Merced College and UC Santa Cruz; and is employed at the US Bureau of Labor Statistics.



He’s had four guitar-playing brothers including half-bro Bob Weir of the Grateful Dead.



Their brother, James, who taught Anthony to play guitar, passed away in 1991.



After playing Beatles songs on guitar in his bedrooms, dorm rooms, apartments and garages for what finally seemed a sufficient number of decades, Anthony decided to try playing the songs in a band.
